The mystery Rash

Jarens rash that we have been talking about is still a mystery, all the cultures that have been sent out come back negative, they are now testing for fungi and decreasing his antibiotics in case it is an allergic reaction, he will also be getting a one time dose of Benadril, other than that he, is looking good, he is eating, very alert and responsive. I will update when we get more results.

    Low immune systems allow fungi to flourish, as does killing off all good bacteria with those potent long-term antibiotics he's been on. Chelsea gets pretty bad fungal infections. She has one right now. And she's also allergic to many antibiotics from when she had to be on so many when she was young. A body wide rash was a tail tail sign that she was getting allergic to yet another antibiotic.

    I'm hopeful lowering his antibiotics will help. That's the easiest and quickest solution! Please keep us updated. We are reading!!!
